Cutting Discs for all Materials

We at East Coast Cable Ties suggest you use cutting discs that are up to the task for your angle grinder when cutting complex materials such as metal and stone. For safety reasons, always use the correct guard for your angle grinder, as this protects from the rotating disc and debris from the cutting process.

A Range of Sizes

Depending on the application, cutting discs are available in various materials, such as aluminium oxide or silicon carbide. You can also cut stone and concrete using diamond cutting discs. We have a range of sizes, from 115mm cutting discs to 125mm cutting discs .

Always wear protective gloves when fitting any grinder cutting disc. First, remove the nuts and screws, place your new cutting disc on the spindle, and then tighten it again. Use a diamond-coated or fibreglass cutting disc for best results if you need to cut material like aluminium.

How to Cut Aluminium

We recommend the aluminium cutting disc because the task generates a lot of friction and heat. This implement is rugged and stays sharp for longer. Alternatively, use resin fibre discs (RFDs) for finishing, blending, and grinding tasks.
