Black Cable Ties for Outdoor Applications

Black cable ties are your best option if you have an outdoor application with cables or wires exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. They are made from a polyamide containing a black additive, which has the benefit of making them UV resistant. White cable ties, on the other hand, are perfect for indoor applications.

The traditional material for cable ties is nylon 6/6, which has a UL 94V-2 flammability rating, a high operating temperature range and pliable strength. Use them to reduce clutter on-site and keep wires from getting tangled or twisted.

Resistance to Grease and Oils

Black cable ties are made from nylon 12 for extra tensile strength and have the added benefit of being resistant to grease and oils. Talk to us if you want small black zip ties or black plastic cable ties.
